Reinhardt street reconstruction July 2021

Reinhardt Drive Street Reconstruction Project

UPDATE 9/20/2021: With 95% of the work completed on Reinhardt Dr, I wanted to let everyone know that the  temporary 2-way access on 51st St, west of Mission Rd has been converted back to the original one-way street. Vehicles/students/parents will need to use Reinhardt Dr to access Bishop Miege H S. Vehicles can still use 51st St  when exiting from the rear of Bishop Miege parking lot to get to Mission Rd, however can no longer travel westbound on 51st St from Mission Rd. All construction signs indicating motorists to use Mission Rd to 51st St to access Bishop Miege have been removed. Click here to see traffic plan.

Again, all motorists will need to access Bishop Miege from Reinhardt Dr. We would like to express our gratitude for all of your patience during the construction process

UPDATE 7/29/2021:  If you live on Reinhardt Drive, driveways have been ramped and residents can start parking in their drives immediately. Thank you for your patience during the driveway restriction period. Next up, KHC will remove the remaining asphalt between 50th St. & 48th St. and will be bringing in the rock base. Base asphalt will be placed the first week of August and sidewalk installation will also start in August.

UPDATE 7/22/2021: Street reconstruction project from Reinhardt Dr. from Pawnee Dr. to W. 48th Street.
If you live on Reinhardt Drive, the driveway restriction period has begun. KHC's plan is to have all curb and driveways poured by Friday, July 23. The cure time over the weekend should allow for driveway access by mid-week of the following week (week of July 26th). KHC will let neighbors know when driveway access will be available again.
We will keep the community informed if these dates shift or change. If you have questions or need to schedule special accommodations please contact Donnie Scharff: dscharff@roelandpark.org.
