Recycle More, Recycle Better

recycle

The MARC Solid Waste Management District recently published the Recycle More, Recycle Better flier (PDF) to make it easier for residents to know what is and is not recyclable in their curbside bins.

Confusion as to what materials are acceptable is causing a lot of unacceptable materials to end up in curbside recycling bins. With the markets for recyclables in a fragile state, it is more important than ever that we collect only clean, acceptable materials.

This list has been approved by the material recovery facilities (MRFs) that serve the Kansas City region. This is the most accurate, up-to-date information available.
