Winter Warriors started in early 2025 to help those in need of residential snow removal. The intent of the program is for volunteers in Roeland Park to sign up and help their neighbors with snow removal from driveways and sidewalks.
To qualify to receive help, you must be over the age of 60, disabled, or otherwise physically unable to shovel. To apply for help, complete this form which will be reviewed by staff. Once the application is approved, your address will be placed on a list for volunteers to sign up to assist via Signup Genius. After each snow event, staff will update the list of homes needing assistance so volunteers can connect to help out. For questions or to learn more, contact Jennifer Jones-Lacy, or 913-722-2600.
