2025 COMPOST BIN REBATE PROGRAM  

The City of Roeland Park is committed to helping residents divert organic materials from landfills and is offering a rebate to residents to begin a home composting program. Eligible residents can get a rebate of up to $75 for the purchase of a home compost bin or by building one.

COMPOST WORKSHOPS

The City, along with the Johnson County K-State Research and Extension Office, will host workshops for those wanting to learn more about backyard composting. Those who attend a workshop will be prioritized for a rebate and be eligible for the maximum rebate of $75. Those who do not attend a workshop may receive a rebate of up to $40, subject to availability.
